Internal Medicine involves the treatment of adults and adolescents (14 years & older) and includes both primary care and specialty care. We welcome new patients and all college students.
General Internal Medicine includes:
- General physical exams
- Heart disease screening
- Manages chronic diseases, i.e. diabetes
- Same day appointments
- STD checks
- Dermatological procedures
- Blood pressure checks
- Cholesterol screening and treatment
- Well woman exams
- Preventative physicals
Some physicians in the department of Internal Medicine at the Boulder Medical Center accept both primary care and sub-specialty patients. Same day appointments are available by calling 303-440-3000. There is also an internist on call for emergencies at night and on weekends.
