Dr. Brandt is originally from New York City. He moved to Boulder in 1967 to begin his practice at the Boulder Medical Center.
MEDICAL TRAINING AND SPECIALTY
Dr. Brandt received his Medical Degree in 1961 from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed his residency and internship in Internal Medicine at the Salt Lake County General Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. His military residency in Internal Medicine was completed at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia and his fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Dr. Brandt is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He earned a Certificate of Knowledge from the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and the International Society of Travel Medicine. Travel Medicine deals in the study and treatment of viruses, bacteria and parasites. Dr. Brandt is the advising physician to the Travel Clinic at Boulder Medical Center. In 1985 he spent one year as Infectious Diseases Consultant at the Al Hada Hospital in Saudi Arabia. He is Board Certified in Infectious Diseases.
PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
In addition to memberships in local societies, Dr. Brandt also belongs to the American Medical Association, the American Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene, the International Society of Travel Medicine and the Infectious Diseases Society of America. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado Medical Center.

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Brandt, please call (303) 440-3216. Dr. Brandt's office hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Boulder Medical Center's office hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. However, specific hours for each physician may vary.
