Carole A. Christensen, M.D. - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Dr. Christensen was born in LeMars, Iowa and grew up in Storm Lake, Iowa. She met her husband, Dan, after moving to Colorado in 1984 and they married in 1986. The Christensen’s have a daughter, Kelly born in 1991. Dr. Christensen enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities including hiking, running, biking, backpacking, and skiing.

MEDICAL TRAINING AND SPECIALTY

Dr. Christensen received her medical degree and completed her Internship at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. In 1984 Dr. Christensen achieved her three year Residency with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Iowa. She began her practice at the Boulder Medical Center in 1984. Dr. Christensen enjoys treating women and dealing with the many aspects of her specialty.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS

Dr. Christensen is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She belongs to the Colorado Medical Society and the Boulder County Medical Society. She is a past chairperson of the Boulder Community Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Department.
