Jennifer Christensen, M.D. - Internal Medicine

Dr. Jennifer Christensen joined Boulder Medical Center
after practicing in Denver, CO for 5 years as an Internist in a private practice affiliated with the University Of Colorado residency-training program. She, her husband David, and their children, Alexander ,Emma and Ava, enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle.

MEDICAL TRAINING AND SPECIALTY

Dr. Christensen graduated summa cum laude from Drake University Honors Program with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She received her medical degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD and completed her Residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.

Her practice of medicine encompasses adolescence to geriatrics. Dr. Christensen enjoys providing comprehensive medical care including preventive health care and the management of acute and chronic illnesses. She has a special interest in the treatment of diabetes, lipid disorders and cardiovascular disease.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS

Dr. Jennifer Christensen is board certified in Internal Medicine. She was a finalist in a clinical vignette competition for the American College of Physicians. Dr. Christensen has an academic appointment at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center as a clinical professor and is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Colorado Medical Society and the Boulder County Medical Society. Dr. Christensen is currently serving as the President of the Boulder County Medical Society.

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Christensen, please call (303) 440-3268. Boulder Medical Center’s office hour are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. However, specific hours for each physician may vary.
