Veronica Dotterweich, FNP-C - Family Medicine

Voni (Veronica Dotterweich) is originally from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She met her husband and they married in Orlando, and had three sons. The family moved around the country with Lockheed for her husband’s work and landed at last in Colorado. She loves hiking, golfing, skiing, travel and a good book. An occasional dip in the Atlantic and visiting a humid spot balance life in Colorado. She is still doing victory laps since all three sons graduated from college and are gainfully employed.

MEDICAL TRAINING AND SPECIALTY

Voni attended Florida State where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing; and the University of Central Florida for her Master of Education. She enjoys mentoring Nurse Practitioner students.

Voni started her career in cardiac medicine with the advent of the stent in the U.S., at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. She remained in CCU or telemetry for nearly 30 years, along with teaching nursing until she attended the University of Northern Colorado for her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Voni Dotterweich is a certified Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the Colorado Nurses Association DNA 30 for Nurse Practitioners, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
