Harma Drenth is originally from the Netherlands and moved to the United States in 1986 to study the art and technology in nursing. After enjoying life in the Bay area of Northern California for five years, she moved to Boulder in 1991. Harma is married and has one son and together the family enjoys outdoor sports.
MEDICAL TRAINING AND SPECIALTY
Harma Drenth received her Bachelor of Science in nursing in the Netherlands in 1985. In 1989 she received a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of California, San Francisco. After working for ten years in cardiac and general intensive care and several years of emergency room nursing she graduated from the University of Colorado, Health Science Center in Denver in 1999 as a Family Nurse Practitioner with a Post-Master’s Certificate. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner.
Harma’s career has been focused on cardiology and her interests lie in the prevention of coronary artery disease as well as treating patients with coronary artery disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, obesity as well as diabetes. Her practice also includes routine health maintenance screening including gynecological care and wound care.

Harma Drenth is a member of the American College of Nurse Practitioners and she is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, an honor Society in Nursing.
