James R. Grady, M.D. -
Internal Medicine/Pulmonology
Dr. Grady is originally from Iowa City, Iowa. He moved west to attend Colorado State University (CSU) in Fort Collins. Dr. Grady enjoys participating in all types of outdoor activities with his wife Leslie and their two daughters.
MEDICAL TRAINING AND SPECIALTY
Dr. Grady received his Bachelor’s degree with distinction from CSU in 1974 and his Medical Degree from the University of Iowa in 1979. He served both his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. Grady also completed a one-year Nephrology Fellowship at the Health Sciences University. He was awarded a Fellowship at the University of Utah which emphasized pulmonology, the specialty devoted to treating the lungs. After completing the Fellowship, Dr. Grady came to the Boulder Medical Center where he practices Internal Medicine with an emphasis on pulmonology.
PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
Dr. Grady is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease. He is a member of a variety of professional organizations including the American College of Physicians, the Colorado Medical society and the Boulder County Medical Society. He is also the past Vice President of the medical section of the American Lung Association.
OFFICE HOURS
To schedule an appointment with Dr. Grady please call 303-440-3216. Boulder Medical Center’s office hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. However, Dr. Grady does not have office hours on Thursday.
