Kim Guthke, PA - DERMATOLOGY

Kim Guthke was born in Boulder, CO and has lived in Austria, Belgium, Taiwan, New York, and Washington. Kim speaks German and Spanish and has studied French and Chinese. She was a teacher for two years and worked in travel before entering the medical field.

Her interests include running, cycling, painting and a love of world travel. Kim has traveled extensively through Europe, Asia, the Middle East, South America and Africa.

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

A Physician Assistant is a state licensed or federally certified practitioner that is part of a team with their supervising physician/s. The Physician Assistant education process typically parallels that of traditional medical school, but is a shorter program and does not require formal internship or residency. The Physician Assistant shares responsibility of the patient with the supervising physician.

MEDICAL TRAINING

Kim received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Puget Sound. She received her Physician Assistant and Master of Science degrees from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION

Kim is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants (NCCPA), the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Colorado Association of Physician Assistants.
