Michael Hennesy, M.D. - Obstetrics & Gynecology

Dr. Hennesy is a Colorado native who grew up in Arvada, Colorado. He practiced for 8 years in Thornton, Colorado before joining the Boulder Medical Center in June, 2010. Dr. Hennesy speaks Spanish. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons. In his free time he enjoys, golf, movies, travel and music.

MEDICAL TRAINING AND SPECIALTY

Dr. Hennesy received his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Colorado in Boulder. He attended Medical School at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado. He served his residency at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.  Delivering babies is Dr. Hennesy’s favorite part of his general obstetrics and gynecology practice. He also has a special interest in the management of abnormal pap smears and birth control.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS

Dr. Hennesy is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the Colorado Medical Society and the Boulder County Medical Society. He previously served as Treasurer of North Suburban Medical Center and served as a member of their Medical Executive Committee.

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Hennesy please call 303-938-4710. Boulder Medical Center Foothills office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, specific hours for each physician may vary.
