Linda has been a registered nurse since 1971 with years of experience in direct patient education. She has been involved in diabetes education and the nurse coordinator for the endocrinology practice at the Boulder Medical Center since 1981. She provides training in problem solving, individualized treatment and self-management for people with diabetes.

She is an outdoor enthusiast engaging in hiking, biking, gardening, cross country skiing and snow shoeing.
