Thomas Lischwe, MD - Family Practice

Dr. Lischwe grew up in St. Louis Missouri. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Theology. Dr. Lischwe taught high school students in Idaho and California before returning to the University of Oregon for Premedical training. He has lived in Boulder since 1988 and he and his wife Jane have two daughters. Dr. Lischwe loves to be out in nature hiking, biking and skiing. He also loves to read, write and dabble in art.

MEDICAL TRAINING AND SPECIALTY

Dr. Lischwe attended Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois for medical school. He completed his Internship and Residency at Mercy Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Lischwe is currently a Centura Family Practice Resident. He has practiced Family Medicine in Broomfield for 15 years before joining the Boulder Medical Center in August 2003. Dr. Lischwe enjoys a wide range of family practice medicine from infants to geriatrics. He particularly likes to provide a broad approach to health care and disease prevention to all of his patients.

Dr. Lischwe is Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is a member of the Academy of Family Physicians, the Colorado Medical Society and the Boulder County Medical Society.

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Lischwe at Boulder Medical Center Avista in Louisville call 303-666-2710. The office is open 8:30 AM to 5:00 Monday through Friday with some evening appointments available for your convenience. On Saturday the office is open 8:30 AM to noon. However, specific hours for each physician may vary.
