Dr. Moritz was born and raised in Hanover, New Hampshire where his father who had a PhD was a professor of Geology at Dartmouth. He and his wife have three daughters; the oldest graduated from college with a Masters in Integrative Physiology and now works at Harvard, the middle daughter is a junior at CU and the youngest is a junior at Boulder High.
