Jill Olson, M.D. -

Originally from Texas, when she was younger, Dr. Olson’s family vacationed in Colorado every summer. She enjoys participating in outdoor activities and spends her free time training for and competing in marathons and triathlons. She is a percussionist and was a member in the Doctors’ Orchestra of Houston.
MEDICAL TRAINING AND SPECIALTY
Dr. Olson graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas. Dr. Olson earned her Medical Doctorate from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and went on to complete an Internal Medicine Preliminary year at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, HI. Dr. Olson completed a Neurology Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston where she was Chief Resident. She completed a neurophysiology fellowship at Vanderbilt University.
Dr. Olson enjoys practicing the full spectrum of general neurology for adult patients and she has a special interest in neurophysiology, including epilepsy and neuromuscular disease. Treatment and procedures include the following:
Alzheimer’s disease
Epilepsy
Headaches including migraines
Movement disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease
Peripheral nerve problems such as pain, weakness or numbness
Stroke
Nerve conduction studies/Electomyography (EMG).

Dr. Olson is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is a member of the Colorado and Boulder County Medical Societies. Dr. Olson is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, and the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society (ACNS).

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Olson, please call 303-440-3216. Boulder Medical Center’s office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, specific hours for each physician may vary.
