Dear Patients and Friends:

I am writing this letter to inform you of my decisions to change my practice. I had planned on staying at the Medical Center for years to come, but after much consideration I have decided to leave to pursue a practice as a hospitalist.

I am deeply sorry for my change of plans, but be assured you will be in good hands with the remaining internists here at Boulder Medical Center. Coco Dughi, Connor Graham, Jose Delgado, Jennifer Christensen, Hilary Wallace and Eric Zacharias are all internists here. Harma Drenth is a nurse practitioner whom I've worked with as well who will be happy to take care of your needs.

I am sorry to leave and wish everyone well. It has been a pleasure getting to know you all. I will be available to see you until May 23rd.

Dr. Ryan began practicing in November 2006 at the Boulder Medical Center. She was raised in Boulder and after a brief stay in Oregon has returned to Boulder with her family to enjoy the Rocky mountains and the sunshine. Dr. Ryan looks forward to raising her children in the beautiful area in and around Boulder and hopes to engender the love of the outdoors in her children which she has. She enjoys skiing, hiking and camping with her family.

MEDICAL TRAINING AND SPECIALTY

Dr. Ryan graduated with honors in chemical engineering at the University of Colorado and worked briefly in research prior to pursuing a medical career. She went to medical school at the University of Colorado and completed her training in internal mediicine at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center. Dr. Ryan worked as a hospitalalist at Boulder Community Hospital prior to opening her practice at the Boulder Medical Center. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Ryan enjoys all aspects of general internal medicine including routine health maintenance, including women's health care and preventative medicine for all ages of adults. She also has an interest in the diagnosis and management of medical illnesses including heart disease, hypertension, diabetes and thyroid disease.

Dr. Ryan is a member of the Colorado Medical Society and the Boulder County Medical Society.

OFFICE HOURS

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Ryan please call 303-440-3169. The Boulder Medical Center office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, specific hours for each physician may vary.

In case of emergency, Dr. Ryan or one of her colleagues in the Internal Medicine Department can be reached 24 hours a day by calling 303-440-3000.
