B. Alison Schultz, DO, MBA- Obstetrics and Gynecology

Dr. Schultz joined the Boulder Medical Center on October 3rd, 2011. She enjoys spending time with family, SCUBA diving, traveling and hiking.

MEDICAL TRAINING AND SPECIALTY

Dr. Schultz earned her undergraduate degree from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated with summa cum laude honors, she continued her education receiving a Masters of Business Administration in Health Care Leadership. Dr. Schultz attended the Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri where she earned a Doctor of Osteopathy Degree. She completed her Residency at Case Western Reserve (MetroHealth Medical Center) and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Schultz completed a Fellowship at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, New York in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.

Within her specialty Dr. Schultz has a special interest in dysfunctional uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgical procedures including operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.  She looks forward to establishing long lasting relationships with her patients.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS

Dr. Schultz is an active candidate with the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and has passed ABOG written boards. She is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), the American College of Osteopathic Medicine (AOA), the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons (SLS).

Dr. Schultz achieved AAGL Resident for Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures, she was chosen SLS Outstanding Laparoendoscopic Resident Surgeon, and she is a member of Sigma Sigma Phi National Osteopathic Honor and Service Fraternity, KCUMB.

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Schultz, please call 303-665-1045 in Louisville. Boulder Medical Center’s office hours are 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday. However, specific hours for each physician may vary.
