Melissa Greenfield Serlen, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Serlen grew up in the New Jersey and Philadelphia areas. She moved to Colorado in 2002. Dr. Serlen has two children and two dogs and she loves to ski and even dreams about it in the off season. Prior to joining BMC Avista, she enjoyed nine years of being a Pediatric ER physician in the Denver area.

MEDICAL TRAINING AND SPECIALTY

Dr. Serlen earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She was awarded her Medical Degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Serlen continued her education with the Pediatric House Staff, The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore Maryland. She looks forward to developing lasting relationships with her patients and their families.

Dr. Serlen holds a State of Colorado Medical License and she is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the Colorado and Boulder County Medical Societies.

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Serlen at Boulder Medical Center Avista in Louisville please call 303-666-2720. Appointments are scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Saturday, office phones open at 8:30 a.m.  However, specific office hours for each physician may vary.
