About Alex Budiman
Dr. Alex Budiman is board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment.
Dr. Budiman grew up in Chicago and obtained his bachelor’s degree at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics. After college, he went on to pursue orthopedic clinical research focusing on spine surgery before moving to Southern California for medical school. He then completed his post graduate training in Southampton Hospital in New York, where he specialized in Family Medicine. He has a special interest in tropical medicine and occasionally volunteers at a rural clinic in Indonesia.
He comes to Boulder Medical Center from Mammoth Hospital, where he practiced medicine at a hospital-based outpatient clinic.
Outside the office, Dr. Budiman is an outdoor enthusiast who loves spending his free time in the mountains. Boulder was an easy choice given the unique access to camping, hiking, rock climbing, and snowboarding. On rest days, he enjoys playing the piano, cooking, and binging on Netflix.
Alex Budiman, DO is part of the Boulder Medical Center Urgent Care department. As a specialist in Family Medicine, he is trained to perform broad scope of outpatient treatments and procedures.
Dr. Budiman came to Boulder Medical Center after working at the Mammoth Hospital in California, where he practiced medicine in a hospital-based outpatient clinic with a diverse population and pathology including frequent collaboration with orthopedic and therapy teams due to the regional outdoor culture.
