About B. Alison Schultz

Dr. B. Alison Schultz is a board-certified OB-GYN physician with experience in her specialty since 2005. She has been practicing at Boulder Medical Center since 2011. Dr. Schultz is also a Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery specialist, having completed the two-year American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (FMIGS).

She enjoys getting to know her patients and caring for them throughout all of life’s stages — from adolescence through young adulthood and childbearing years into menopause and beyond.

Dr. Schultz is dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care in a kind and compassionate manner. She brings a sincere and thoughtful approach to each patient’s situation. “I take time to listen, ask and answer questions, and explain possible diagnoses and treatment options. My goal is to equip my patients with an understanding of their condition so that they can become active participants in their health care,” she says.

Dr. Schultz lives with her husband and two daughters in Superior, Colorado. She enjoys spending time with family, SCUBA diving, skiing, hiking, biking, and traveling. She also has a passion for wellness and likes to read books/articles and listen to podcasts on nutrition (she subscribes to a whole food plant-based diet as the healthiest), exercise, longevity, and happiness.

About Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery

Dr. Schultz has received specialized training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures. After earning a Doctor of Medicine degree and completing her OB-GYN residency, she spent two additional years of training as an American Academy of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) fellow.

Pregnancy/Delivery

Dr. Schultz performs deliveries at Avista Adventist Hospital in Louisville, Colorado, the premiere obstetrics and gynecologic care facility. The New Life Birth Center at Avista Hospital has 28 private birthing suites and a Level IIIB Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (the largest and most advanced in the area).
