About Eileen Gallagher
Dr. Gallagher, one of three children, was born and raised in Eureka, California. She loves living in Boulder with her two children and enjoys many outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, camping, skiing, and golf. She also likes to travel, taste wine, cook, and read.
Dr. Gallagher graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Science from the University of California, Davis. She completed a Dietetic Internship at the University of California, San Francisco and practiced as a Dietician there for over two years. Dr. Gallagher received her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, College of Medicine and went on to complete a Family Medicine Residency at the Oregon Health and Science University in the Department of Family Medicine.
As a Family physician, Dr. Gallagher enjoys caring for patients of all ages throughout their life cycle. She emphasizes preventative care and has a special interest in Women’s Health, Pediatrics and working toward optimal health focusing on good lifestyle choices. She speaks spanish for patients who need this service.
Dr. Gallagher is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Practice. She is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha where she received highest honors for medical school. Dr. Gallagher is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Colorado Academy of Family Physicians, and the Oregon Academy of Family Physicians where she was a Resident Board Member from June 2001 to June 2003. She is a member of the Boulder County Medical Society and the Colorado Medical Society.
