James Doyle, md

Dr. James Doyle earned his medical degree from St. Louis University Medical School in Missouri and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Mary’s Medical Center: Harbor-UCLA in Long Beach, Calif. He received his gastroenterology (GI) fellowship training at  Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport and St. Louis University Medical Center.

Prior to joining Boulder Medical Center, Dr. Doyle practiced with a large gastroenterology group in Reno, Nev. Before that, he owned and managed a 14-employee gastroenterology practice in Spokane, Wash. for 25 years.

In addition to treating his patients, Dr. Doyle has a strong interest in clinical research, having performed over 40 clinical research studies. He is also fascinated by the expanding area of enteric bacterial flora and its relationship to overall health and evolving linkage with certain disease conditions.

Dr. Doyle is partnering with Dr. Robert Levine to provide gastroenterology care to patients at Boulder Medical Center–Broadway..
