About Jill Siegfried
Dr. Jill Siegfried grew up in Pittsburgh and moved away to attend college in Atlanta. Upon graduation, she returned to her hometown for medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for her family medicine residency then felt pulled by the beautiful Rocky Mountains. She opened her family medicine practice at Boulder Medical Center in 2004.
Dr. Siegfried is the recipient of several awards and honors including the Florence L. Marcus, M.D. prize in Family Medicine and the Dorothy Christie Scott Humanitarian award from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
She served as a medical volunteer in the Kingdom of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) in Southern Africa and has volunteered as a domestic violence medical advocate.
Dr. Siegfried says that she is passionate about her husband and the outdoors. She has fun skiing, hiking, biking, watching her kids play soccer, reading, and dancing to live music.
Specialty Areas
As a family medicine physician, Dr. Siegfried is trained to provide care for any patient regardless of gender, age, or type of medical problem. Family medicine doctors can manage 90 to 95 percent of medical conditions presented to them and can monitor their patients through referrals to specialists and hospitalizations.
Dr. Siegfried practices full-spectrum family medicine, primarily in the outpatient setting. Her favorite part of being a family medicine physician is partnering with her patients to achieve their health care goals and helping them maintain wellness.
