About Lauren Brave

Dr. Lauren Brave grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and has taken many detours throughout the country since.

Dr. Brave earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from M.I.T. and completed her medical training at Washington University in St. Louis. Then, she completed her pediatric residency at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford University. After residency, Dr. Brave joined the busy urgent care practice at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, a large multi-specialty clinic. After many years of focusing on sick care and acute injuries, Dr. Brave returned to well care and preventive medicine, which she is passionate about.

She was excited to move to the Boulder area in 2013 to be closer to family and enjoy the quality of life that mountain living has to offer.

Dr. Brave’s patients and families value her as an empathetic and attentive doctor and appreciate her honesty and directness. She looks forward to watching her patients grow and thrive. She enjoys taking care of everyone from newborns to teenagers and has developed particular expertise in newborn care, mental health issues, ADHD, and caring for children in the LGBTQIA+ community.
