About Patricia Zishka
Dr. Patricia Zishka grew up and graduated from high school in the Denver area. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Colorado State University and her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. After an emergency medicine internship at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Dr. Zishka completed her residency in preventive medicine and a Master’s Degree in Public Health at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
She enjoys traveling and exploring, marathon running, sea kayaking, and fly fishing. Her academic interests include emergency medicine, public health/preventive medicine, indigent healthcare, international health and population issues, and wilderness medicine. She is fluent in Medical Spanish.
Dr. Patricia Zishka is part of the Boulder Medical Center Urgent Care.
Unique among local urgent care centers, our clinic is staffed by physicians (mostly family practice and/or emergency room specialists), nurse practitioners, and registered nurses.
