About Ron Baumgartner
I am from Chicagoland, but have lived in Colorado since 1981 and consider myself an official "transplant". I trained at the University of Colorado Health and Hospitals/ Denver Health and Hospitals/ Childrens Hospital of Colorado and fell in love with the area. I have been at Boulder Medical Center since training.
I have been married to the same wonderful woman for 32 years (she's a saint!) and have four children whom I adore and who taught me a lot about parenting and pediatrics. I am a family guy all the way.
My hobbies were basketball and volleyball until my Orthopod grounded me after I ran out of cartilage in various joints. Now they are hiking and piano and reading. ( I hope I don't injure myself reading!)
I love kids and feel blessed to have found Pediatrics as a life-long profession.
