About Tracy Moran
Tracy Moran has lived in Boulder most of her life. She joined Boulder Medical Center as a Physician Assistant (PA) in 1996 and has worked with Dr. Stephen M. Johs in the General Surgery department for over 20 years.
Throughout her career, Tracy has trained and worked in four fields of medicine: orthopedics, general surgery, gastroenterology, and medical oncology. Through these experiences she gained a wealth and range of knowledge while discovering that her passion as a PA lies in surgery.
“My favorite aspect of working in the surgery department is that I get to spend more time with patients,” she says. “I enjoy figuring out and taking care of their surgical needs and counseling them about the different diseases and surgical processes. I also enjoy providing continuous care, starting with the initial consultation and continuing through the actual surgery, and afterwards with post-operative support.”
Tracy is married and has two children. She spent several years as a member of the Vail Ski Patrol and likes to ski, hike, cycle, and travel in her free time.
Tracy is a Board Certified Physician Assistant and received her degree from Yale University School of Medicine in 1990.
As part of the General Surgery department at Boulder Medical Center, Tracy provides new patient consultations, pre- and post-operative care, office procedures, and ongoing surgical oncology follow-up.
Along with Dr. Stephen M. Johs, she is part of a close-knit surgical team dedicated to providing the highest level of personalized and quality care.
Tracy is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
