About Zachary Kahn
Zach is originally from Albuquerque, NM but calls Colorado home. When not spending time with his wife and daughter, he can usually be found somewhere in the mountains.
A Physician Assistant is a State Licensed or Federally Certified practitioner that is part of a team with their supervising physician/s. The Physician’s Assistant education process typically parallels that of traditional medical school, but is a shorter program and does not require formal Internship or Residency. The Physician Assistant shares responsibility of the patient with the supervising physician.
Specialties and Educational Information
Zach received his Masters degree in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2006. His graduate research focused on how the cardiovascular system is affected by ageing and exercise, and he then continued that work with the University of Colorado Hospital Division of Geriatrics. He received his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in May 2010 and joined Dr. Holland at the Boulder Medical Center in July 2010. He is interested in all areas of cardiology and prevention of cardiovascular disease.
Zach is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Colorado Academy of Physician Assistants.
