About Dr. Hunter
Dr. Mark Hunter began his medical practice at the Boulder Medical Center in 2014. Born in Colorado Springs at the Air Force Academy Hospital, he grew up in Denver where he found a particular love for the mountains and Colorado’s outdoor lifestyle. He and his wife, Katherine, met while living and working in the Vail area just after college. They now have three children and when not involved in medicine, Dr. Hunter enjoys spending time with his family skiing, running, sailing, cycling, backpacking, hiking, and scuba diving.
Dr. Hunter received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado and continued his education at the University of Denver earning a Master of Business Administration. He completed Post baccalaureate Premedical Studies at Bennington College in Vermont. Dr. Hunter earned his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, Vermont and then attended Albany Medical College in New York where he completed his residency in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.
