Conditions affecting the digestive system, including:

  • Diseases of the digestive tract, liver, and pancreas
  • Esophageal disorders
  • Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
  • Hemorrhoids
  • Inflammatory bowel diseases, including Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis
  • Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
  • Liver disease (hepatitis, cirrhosis)
  • Stomach pain and ulcers

Treatments and Procedures

  • Colon cancer screening (colonoscopy)
  • Endoscopy (traditional and “camera pill”)
  • iLivTouch Liver Scan to evaluate liver health, particularly to detect liver fibrosis (scarring) and fatty liver disease
  • Medication for gastrointestinal disorders
  • Treatment for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic hepatitis (MASH)

Colonoscopy or Endoscopy Referral

A referral is not required to schedule a colonoscopy or endoscopy. Our scheduling team will assist patients in obtaining the needed referral paperwork.

  • Patients who do not see a Boulder Medical Center Internal Medicine or Family Medicine provider can complete the Registration Form and have their provider fax a referral with recent visit notes to (303) 440-3209.
  • Cardiology patients will be asked to provide cardiology records and/or clearance.
