Can I use my Boulder Community Health (MyBCH) account credentials to log in to Boulder Medical Center’s MyChart?

If you have a MyBCH account at Boulder Community Health, you can log in to Boulder Medical Center’s MyChart using the same username and password from your MyBCH account. Boulder Medical Center is now integrated into the Epic Community Connect program through Boulder Community Health (BCH).

If I have records with another health organization or hospital, can I see those records in MyChart?

You can use your Boulder Medical Center MyChart account to access your health information from other organizations where you and your family have records. Connecting your accounts with participating organizations lets you view allergies, care team information, messages, test results, health issues, visit summaries, medications, and more.

Can I access a family member’s health record through MyChart?

You can view a family member’s health information by setting up proxy access. This feature allows a parent, guardian, or authorized individual to connect to a family member’s records through their MyChart account. Log in to MyChart and navigate to Profile > Personalize to set this up.

What is proxy access, and who qualifies?

MyChart lets you view and manage a family member’s health records by setting up proxy access. This feature is helpful for parents, guardians, or authorized individuals who need to oversee a loved one’s medical information. To enable proxy access, log in to MyChart, go to Profile, and select Personalize.

Proxy access is typically granted to parents or guardians of minors, legal guardians for adults, or individuals with healthcare power of attorney. Court-appointed guardians or other legally recognized representatives may also qualify.

To set up proxy access, please complete the appropriate Proxy Access Form:

Can my spouse and I share one MyChart account?

No. Due to the sensitive nature of medical information, each adult must establish their own MyChart account.

Set Notifications

By providing your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from Boulder Medical Center. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.

  • Log in to your MyChart account
  • Open the Menu by tapping the three lines in the top left corner
  • Scroll down to “Settings” and select “Communication Preferences”

Representing a Family Member

You can only access someone else’s health record with proxy access. MyChart is designed to provide direct access to your health record. Any inquiries about another individual’s information would be logged in your health record, which could compromise your medical care since it wouldn’t appear in the correct health record.

Electronic Paperwork

If your upcoming appointment is eligible for electronic check-in, you can complete tasks such as checking in before your appointment, updating personal, medical, and insurance information, e-signing documents, and answering questionnaires.

Cancellations

Maybe. Depending on the date and time of your next appointment, you might be able to cancel through MyChart. You can do this by going to Visits > Appointments, selecting the appointment from the list, or clicking Details. Then, click Cancel, enter your cancellation comments, and click Confirm Cancellation. Contact your provider’s office for more information about their cancellation policies.

Passwords

You can click the “Forgot password” link on the MyChart sign-in page to reset your password online.
