Jenna Peart, MD
About Jenna Peart
Dr. Jenna Peart is originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. As a child growing up in a family with two physician parents, she always believed “they had the coolest job in the world,” and aspired to follow in their footsteps.
Dr. Peart earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Boston College, graduating magna cum laude as a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society. As a part of her major, she spent a semester in Quito, Ecuador taking coursework in Spanish. Next, she pursued medical studies at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in the top ten of her class. Dr. Peart was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She then moved to Denver, Colorado, to complete her internship at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital, followed by her residency training in Dermatology at the University of Colorado. While in residency, Dr. Peart fell in love with the mountains and the outdoor recreational opportunities they provide. She has lived in Colorado since.
As a dermatologist, Dr. Peart is inspired by the “reward of seeing someone’s skin condition improve dramatically and knowing how much that improvement brings a new sense of self-confidence and improves that person’s daily quality of life.” As a result, she brings a high level of energy and enthusiasm as well as attention to constantly improving her delivery of care: “I am always reading about new research and methods of treatment so that I can bring the latest developments in dermatology back to my patients and my practice.”
Her philosophy of care is to form a strong partnership with every patient. I want to work together in order to achieve each person’s skin care goals,” she says. “I offer dedication and also openness to changing the treatment plan as many times as necessary in order to get patients feeling better.”
In her free time, Dr. Peart enjoys hiking, backpacking, snowboarding, rock climbing, reading, cooking, and traveling. She recently completed her quest to summit all of Colorado’s 14ers!
Dr. Peart is fluent in Spanish and speaks some French and Portuguese.
