About Jennifer Christensen
Dr. Christensen graduated summa cum laude from the Drake University Honors Program with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore and completed her
residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences
Dr. Christensen joined Boulder Medical Center in 2002 after working as an internist in a private practice affiliated with the University of Colorado residency-training program.
Her Boulder Medical Center practice was selected as one of 500 in the nation to participate in the Comprehensive Primary Care (CPC) Initiative. The Initiative is a partnership between Medicare and other insurance programs and organizations designed to help primary care providers and their practices provide additional resources that improve quality of care and cost-effectiveness.
Dr. Christensen has an academic appointment at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center as a clinical professor and is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Colorado Medical Society and the Boulder Medical Society.
She enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle with her husband and three children.
Dr. Christensen's internal medicine practice encompasses adolescence to geriatrics. Her medical services include:

Dr. Christensen is a board certified internist and is a past president and current board member of the Boulder County Medical Society. She has served on the Council of Legislation.
