About Dr. Kierein
Dr. Rebecca Kierein was born in St. Louis, Missouri, but has spent most of her life in Colorado. She moved to Boulder with her family at the age of eleven and graduated from Boulder High School. Dr. Kierein enjoys spending time with her husband and son, and family members who live in the Louisville area. She also enjoys running, hiking, camping, reading, and racquetball.
Dr. Kierein plans to precept medical residents and to be involved in training medical students. Her practice includes the full spectrum of Family Medicine. She especially enjoys Obstetrics and Pediatrics and likes to emphasize preventive medicine.
Specialty Areas
Dr. Kierein received her Undergraduate Degree from the University of Denver where she also participated in collegiate gymnastics. She then attended the University of Colorado where she received her Medical Degree in 1995. Dr. Kierein completed her Internship and Residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. Her practice includes the full spectrum of Family Medicine. She especially enjoys Obstetrics and Pediatrics and likes to emphasize preventative medicine.

Dr. Kierein is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Practitioners, the Colorado Medical Society and the Boulder County Medical Society.
