Dr. Lauren Brave moved to the area in 2013 to be closer to family and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle. She has been practicing medicine for more than a decade. Dr. Brave’s patients describe her as an empathetic and attentive doctor and appreciate her honesty and directness. She looks forward to watching her patients grow and thrive and enjoys taking care of everyone from newborns to teenagers. She has developed particular expertise in newborn care, mental health issues, ADHD, and caring for children in the LGBTQIA+ community.
Dr. James Gottlieb is a board-certified pediatrician who has been in practice since 2010. Dr. Gottlieb enjoys getting to know each child and their family and says he loves offering continuity of care and a medical home to my patients. His philosophy of care is “the child, first and always.” He enjoys partnering with families with one goal in mind – to help children stay healthy and to heal them when they are not.”
Dr. Katherine Chesney Kennedy has been a practicing pediatrician since 2007. Her philosophy when working with children and teens is to validate symptoms, feelings, and concerns with compassion while providing patients and their parents with the most up-to-date, evidence-based medicine. Dr. Kennedy aims to provide children with insights that help them take responsibility for their wellness as they go forward in life.
Dr. Allen Ruan has lived on the Front Range since long before he was a pediatrician. In fact, he spent his middle and high school years in Longmont. He shared that one of the biggest lessons he learned in medical school was how to listen to young patients and their parents. He says the hardest part in medicine is making the diagnosis, particularly in pediatrics where so many of the symptoms of the disease are observed at home. That’s why he so highly values the skill of listening closely as a foundation for good medical care.
Dr. Neha Vaitha has been in practice since 2010, bringing her experience and philosophy of medicine to us from while working in a busy hospital in Atlanta. She describes her priority to serve each child and parent with 100% percent of her attention, focus, and patience. She takes my her time to listen deeply to each concern and honor each patient and parent with her honest assessment.”
