About Stacie McCally

Stacie McCally grew up in a military family and moved every three to five years between California, Alaska, Washington, and Virginia before settling in the foothills of Boulder.

Stacie knew she wanted to practice medicine as a child when her brother had an accident in the backyard of their home. “He required stabilization as we waited for EMS to arrive. While my dad and I were tending to his wounds, I noticed that I was calm and collected, keeping my brother present and awake while helping my dad manage the bleeding. After things calmed down, I realized, ‘hey, I could do this!’ and found that nursing was a perfect fit. Oh, my brother is fine, though he is not a fan of this story!”

As a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Stacie enjoys contributing to the community and educating her patients toward better health. “I enjoy offering my foundation of nursing and education to patients and love chatting about their lives and interests to personalize care,” she explains. “When I can help them explore evidence-based care that works with their lifestyle, that makes my day in the urgent care clinic even better.” Stacie appreciates the team approach to care that BMC Urgent Care offers to the community and is proud to be a part of the team.

When not providing care at BMC, Stacie loves to travel. She completed a semester abroad in Prague and then lived in Germany for eight years. She also enjoys nature, cooking and baking, spending with her two kids, and snuggling with a book or movie with her cat, Mochi.
