Christopher Pohlman, MD -
Surgery
Dr. Pohlman was raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He then moved to Colorado to pursue his medical degree and he lived in California and New York while completing his Residency and a Fellowship. Dr. Pohlman and his wife Rhonda are happy to return to Colorado with their ten month old daughter and their two dogs. Together the family enjoys skiing, hiking, and biking. Dr. Pohlman also enjoys team sports and playing classical and acoustic guitar.
MEDICAL TRAINING AND SPECIALTY
Dr. Pohlman received his medical degree from the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado. He completed his Residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center, in Loma Linda, California. Dr. Pohlman continued his post graduate training with a Fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at the North Shore University Hospital in Syosset, New York. The Fellowship focus was specifically in laparoscopic procedures including inguinal and incisional hernia repair, antireflux surgery, colon resection, splenectomy and adrenalectomies. Dr. Pohlman enjoys all aspects of General Surgery and he looks forward to providing minimally invasive surgical procedures to his patients when appropriate; the procedures are less invasive, less painful and typically have a shorter recovery time.

Dr. Pohlman is board certified by the American Board of Surgeons. He is a member of SAGES the Society of Gastrointestinal & Endoscopic Surgeons, the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the Colorado Medical Society and a member of the Boulder County Medical Society.

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Pohlman, please call 303-440- 3083. Boulder Medical Center office hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. However, specific hours for each physician may vary.
