Christopher Pohlman, M.D. -
Dr. Pohlman was raised in Phoenix, Arizona and moved to Colorado to pursue his medical degree.
After completing his residency, he underwent a minimally invasive fellowship in New York. He and his wife Rhonda returned to Colorado and now live in Boulder with their two kids. Together the family enjoys hiking and mountain biking. Dr. Pohlman also enjoys skiing and playing the acoustic guitar.
MEDICAL TRAINING AND SPECIALTY
Dr. Pohlman received his medical degree from the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado. He completed his Residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center, in Loma Linda, California. Dr. Pohlman continued his post graduate training with a Fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at the North Shore University Hospital in Syosset, New York. The Fellowship focus was specifically in laparoscopic procedures including inguinal and incisional hernia repair, antireflux surgery, colon resection, splenectomy and adrenalectomies. Dr. Pohlman also performs a number of robotic procedures, including antireflux surgery and cholecystectomy. Dr. Pohlman enjoys all aspects of General Surgery and he looks forward to providing minimally invasive surgical procedures to his patients when appropriate; the procedures are less invasive, less painful and typically have a shorter recovery time.
Dr. Pohlman is board certified by the American Board of Surgeons. He is a member of SAGES the Society of Gastrointestinal & Endoscopic Surgeons, the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the Colorado Medical Society and a member of the Boulder County Medical Society.
