About Rebecca Juliar
Dr. Rebecca Juliar’s choice to practice medicine stemmed from hearing stories growing up about her grandfather, who was a doctor. Medicine struck her as the perfect combination of science and discovery along with something that she genuinely loves — helping and learning about people.
One of Dr. Juliar’s favorite aspects of being a physician providing the highest quality, overall care for her patients. As a family medicine physician, she gets to do just that for individuals and entire families. “I love the variety of family medicine,” she explains. “I went into medicine to work with people, so it is important for me to get to know my patients over time. This helps me provide high quality care that is up-to-date with current evidence, while also being in line with each person’s values and goals.”
Dr. Juliar enjoys being part Boulder Medical Center due to the collaborative nature that exists throughout the entire organization. “I appreciate the ease of working with, and the support I get from everyone here because it helps me deliver a higher level of care for my patients.”
In her free time, Dr. Juliar enjoys spending time with her husband, gardening, hiking, biking, swimming, and the great outdoors. If she must be indoors, she bakes, cooks and writes on her personal cooking blog, mycolorfulcuisine.com, where she shares her healthy eating tips and recipes.
As a board certified family medicine physician, Dr. Juliar is devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. She provides the full spectrum of primary care medicine, including:
- Primary and acute care for pediatrics and adults;

“Dr. Juliar listened to my concerns and took them seriously. She wasn't rushed and took the time to answer all of my questions. She was cautious about me reporting pain in my calf, and because of this, located a blood clot in my leg (which can be very serious) and began treatment for this right away.”A. C. in Boulder, Colo.
“Dr. Juliar is our family physician and I couldn't recommend her more! She doesn't rush her appointments and takes her time working with you. Her advice makes sense and she's able to knowledgeably discuss a variety of topics. All of her referrals have been top notch as well. I like her office staff; they've always been really nice and it's been pretty easy to schedule with them overall. The other doctors in the practice are great as well.”Patient in Boulder County, Colo.

“I would highly recommend Dr. Juliar. She has thoroughly investigated all of my concerns and helped bring me peace of mind. I've seen many doctors and she is the best. Very comprehensive, knowledgeable and reassuring. She always takes the time to explain and makes certain the patient has processed the information and understands the next steps. She has been great with my son also.”Jennifer in Boulder County, Colo.
