What You’ll Learn and Do
Participants in this program are fully integrated into the Boulder Medical Center pharmacy operations, learning critical skills while supporting patient care. Key job responsibilities include:
- Filling prescription orders under pharmacist supervision
- Verifying patient and physician information
- Preparing medication labels and receipts
- Handling cash register transactions and insurance records
- Supporting inventory management and over-the-counter stock
- Compounding or admixing medications with supervision
- Following all State Board of Pharmacy regulations and safety standards
