What You’ll Learn and Do

Participants in this program are fully integrated into the Boulder Medical Center pharmacy operations, learning critical skills while supporting patient care. Key job responsibilities include:

  • Filling prescription orders under pharmacist supervision
  • Verifying patient and physician information
  • Preparing medication labels and receipts
  • Handling cash register transactions and insurance records
  • Supporting inventory management and over-the-counter stock
  • Compounding or admixing medications with supervision
  • Following all State Board of Pharmacy regulations and safety standards
