Barry Migicovsky, MD

About Barry Migicovsky
Dr. Barry Migicovsky is a board-certified gastroenterologist with more than 35 years of experience diagnosing and treating digestive and liver conditions. Originally from Montreal, Quebec, he began his path in medicine at age 17 and never looked back. “By the time I finished my science degree at McGill, I realized I was destined to become a doctor,” he says.
Known for his patient-centered care and deep passion for his specialty, Dr. Migicovsky offers thoughtful, comprehensive support for those facing gastrointestinal issues, including complex conditions. “I love gastroenterology and hepatology—the ability to diagnose, treat, heal, and help people feel cared for and valued,” he says. Hepatology, a subspecialty of gastroenterology, focuses on the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, and pancreas—organs critical to digestion and overall health.
After years of practicing in Florida, Dr. Migicovsky is thrilled to call Boulder—and the Rocky Mountains—home. “I’m brand new to Colorado and excited to explore—hiking, biking, skiing, all of it. I even played hockey growing up, so I’m ready to jump in. And yes, I’m a proud original Florida Panthers fan. When they won the Stanley Cup, the organization gave us original fans commemorative rings!”
Dr. Migicovsky looks forward to bringing his decades of experience, technical skills, and sense of humor to Boulder Medical Center and to helping patients feel seen, understood, and well cared for.
