Jose M. Delgado, Jr., MD, FACP

Originally from Miami, Florida, Dr. Delgado completed his training at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. After serving an additional year as faculty at the university, he started his own private practice in the South Miami area. This practice became a large successful four-physician group that he managed for 10 years.

A long-time dream became a reality when in 2007 Dr. Delgado relocated with his family to Boulder to enjoy life in the Rockies. Dr. Delgado is an avid cyclist and participates in cross country and endurance mountain bike races throughout the Front Range and in the high country. He also enjoys hiking, backpacking, nordic, and backcountry skiing.

As a first generation Cuban American, Dr. Delgado is fluent in English and Spanish and excels at treating patients from diverse backgrounds and cultures. He is also experienced in helping patients with complex medical problems and enjoys treating the elder population.

Prior to joining Boulder Medical Center, Dr. Delgado owned a large internal medicine office and hospital practice in Miami for 10 years. While there, he treated virtually every health condition imaginable. As an Internal Medicine specialist, Dr. Delgado manages the spectrum of health conditions, from preventive check-ups to complex medical problems. He enjoys treating patients from diverse backgrounds and cultures and is very experienced with the elderly population. Conditions that he addresses include:
