About Katie Bennett

Katie Bennett, PA-C, is a compassionate and highly skilled provider assistant specializing in urology.

Growing up in Tampa, Florida, Katie always had a natural affinity toward science and medicine. She discovered her calling in medicine while being part of a clinical research team. This experience, coupled with shadowing physicians and working as a medical scribe, solidified Katie’s decision to pursue a career as a physician assistant.

As a certified physician assistant specializing in urology, Katie brings extensive experience in comprehensive urological care for adults, including complex cases. She ensures seamless coordination between patients, healthcare teams, and treatment plans, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of patient care.

Bringing a range of valuable skills to her practice, including a detail-oriented approach and a commitment to thoroughness, Katie offers a personalized approach to support her patients.

“I approach patient care with a welcoming and understanding attitude,” she says. “I listen, let the patient tell me their story, and work with them to discuss treatment options and which fits best. Providing patients with a safe and understanding environment to discuss sensitive issues is important to me, and applying an evidence-based approach to improving my patient’s quality of life is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.”

Katie enjoys practicing yoga, playing the piano, hiking, reading, and indulging in 80s movies outside her medical practice.
