Eric Zacharias, MD
Internal medicine physician Eric Zacharias, MD, has departed Boulder Medical Center after over two decades (his last day was Monday, Feb. 2). He accepted a faculty and medical risk advisory position with the University of Colorado and is working with COPIC, a regional patient safety and risk management organization.
As part of his COPIC role, Dr. Zacharias recently launched a new podcast, Within Normal Limits: Navigating Risks in the Medical Community. The broadcast offers insights for medical providers on best practices to improve patient safety and care. It’s also an educational listen for anyone who wants to dive deeper into inside conversations within the medical field. Each episode is around 20 minutes and features conversations between Dr. Zacharias and other medical experts.
