About the Project
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is resurfacing Colorado Highway 7 (Arapahoe Avenue) between Cherryvale Road and 28th Street in Boulder. The project includes:
- Milling and resurfacing of asphalt to improve road safety and ride quality
- Installation of ADA-compliant curb ramps
- Erosion control to protect nearby waterways during construction
In collaboration with the City of Boulder, CDOT will also implement the East Arapahoe Bus and Turn Lanes Signing & Striping Project, which includes:
- Converting underused traffic lanes into shared bus and right-turn lanes
- Enhancing bus route reliability and reducing community disruption
Together, these projects aim to improve accessibility, traffic flow, and safety for all travelers in the corridor.
