We understand that some of our patients may have recently received correspondence from Boulder Community Health (BCH) regarding expiration of the commercial and Medicare Advantage insurance contract with United Healthcare (UHC) on September 30, 2023. As BCH and UHC engage in negotiations to renew this contract and ensure in-network access to BCH services, we would like to clarify a few key points:
Boulder Medical Center is Independent of BCH
Boulder Medical Center is a distinct and privately owned group of healthcare providers, separate from Boulder Community Health. It’s important to emphasize that ongoing negotiations between BCH and UHC do not have any bearing on Boulder Medical Center.
Boulder Medical Center accepts United Healthcare Insurance Commercial and Medicare Advantage Plans
Boulder Medical Center is committed to providing quality care to our patients. We currently accept United Healthcare Commercial and Medicare Advantage insurance plans, and we intend to continue doing so in the future. Your access to care at Boulder Medical Center remains unaffected by the contractual negotiations between BCH and UHC.
